Raybestos Element3 Brake Discs are treated with Raybestos self-developed Gray Fusion 4.0 som coating that covers the entire surface of the brake disc, including the heat sinks. The coating helps to resist corrosion, which significantly delays rust attack which impairs the performance of the brake disc.

The Gray Fusion 4.0 coating is ideal for cars driving in coastal regions with high humidity and salinity and where aggressive chemicals are used to melt ice and snow. These environments cause corrosion of the brake disc to develop faster, which effectively inhibits the Gray Fusion 4.0 coating. Since the coating also covers the cooling discs of the brake disc, they are also kept free of rust, which gives long-term optimal air flow and efficient cooling.

Raybestos Element3 Brake Discs are built to withstand the toughest weather conditions and deliver outstanding performance while providing soft braking. The brake discs are developed from OE samples and made with G3000-qualified material that contains a higher proportion of carbon to provide increased strength and sound-absorbing properties. Raybesto's brake discs have undergone over 300 hours of salt spray testing to ensure quality when developed. This test exceeds the OE requirement for passenger and truck brake discs. The brake discs meet the SAE standard for tensile strength and maximum service life.

Raybestos brake discs are delivered with a side output of 0.004? or less and a thickness variation of less than 0.0005 ”, which provides less vibration, brake noise and extends service life. They are balanced and validated to have the least possible variation in the thickness of the brake disc, provide correct balance with minimal vibrations for a quiet and soft braking.
